USPS offers membership directly to safe, knowledgeable and experienced skippers. The only requirement is to pass the Safe
Boating Exam to testify to your skills and knowledge. You can proceed directly to the review questions to test your nautical knowledge or you can purview the study guides prior to taking the study exams.
The study guides present the material covered by each of the study exams, as follows:
The following study exams contain review questions for the exam. If you complete
these review questions with a passing grade of 80% or more, contact Akron Power Squadron to arrange
to take the final exam at your convenience. The study exams consist of 3 exams, each representing a section in the Safe Boating course. Review the questions in each of the
following exams prior to scheduling the final Safe Boating Exam with the squadron.
